We’re Hiring: Accountant (Full Time)

Location: Amman, Jordan

looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Amman. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a trading/distribution company and solid knowledge of the Jordanian tax system.

Role Description

As an Accountant , you will be responsible for:

Managing all accounting transactions

Preparing budget forecasts

Publishing financial statements on time

Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Reconciling accounts payable and receivable

Ensuring timely bank payments

Computing taxes and preparing tax returns

Managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements

Reporting on the company’s financial health and liquidity

Auditing financial transactions and documents

Maintaining financial data confidentiality and performing database backups

Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting

Experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, and general ledger maintenance

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience in trading/distribution and familiarity with the Jordanian tax system are required

Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) and experience in the electromechanical industry are a plus
