📌 Job Title: Senior Accountant

📍 Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports

- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations

- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes

- Maintain compliance with UAE tax laws (VAT) and relevant financial regulations, including VAT filing

- Support internal audits

- Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and consistency

- Lead process improvement initiatives within the finance department

- Assist in inventory accounting and cost control for retail and F&B operations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including retail, operations, and HR

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred

- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

- Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and local financial regulations

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or ERP systems)

- Advanced Excel skills

- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

- High attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Budget 8k to 12k depending on experience.
