Lead Administration Officer General Information Ref # 2600008H Location Qatar-Doha Job family Corporate & Commercial Closing Date: 2026-06-28 Description About the role: Manages and represents the COO's office, providing confidential administrative support to an excellent standard. Acts as the main point of contact for the COO's Office and supports the development, execution, and follow-up of departmental strategy. Key responsibilities Prepare administration-related reports and analyses, taking a lead role in establishing and improving policiesand procedures. Communicate andclarify company policies while resolvingadministrative issues with the Finance, Contracts, and Legal departments. Provide business documentationsupport, including report writing,presentation creation, andspreadsheet preparation. Organize and prioritize tasks forthe team, monitor action areas,and report on task progress. Independently resolve complexadministrative problems while ensuringadherence to the company’s structure, standards, processes, and tools. Continuously enhance and overseeexisting administrative processesand information systems to ensure streamlined and efficient operations. Act as the primary point of contact,facilitating communication withkey stakeholders both within the business and externally to QR Group. Address queries and requests forinformation, interpreting andexplaining procedures and policiesrelated to internal inquiries from management and staff. Foster a strong understanding of the business environment and internal organization among department staff. Manage and coordinate internal andexternal communications, schedulemanagement meetings, and attend as necessary to facilitate minute-taking. Escalate relevant issues to theCOO to provide effective solutionsto identified problems. Organizational Strategy Liaison:Collaborate with the business onorganizational strategy-setting,including manager movements, changes in organizational structure, and the development of long-term strategies. Assist in the annual budget creationand reporting for the departmentin consultation with Business Finance, providing regular budget updates to the COO. Manage and coordinate special projects,gather input on work-in-progress,and report to the Line Manager. Perform other related duties asassigned to ensure the efficient andeffective functioning of the work unit. Qualification About you: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience. Database Administration experience. Project Management experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Effective at managing workingrelationships. Client-focused and business-aware, withproven interaction with the seniormanagement level. Ability to proofread outgoingdocuments with a high level of accuracy. Ability to write comprehensive andaccurate reports using own initiative. Excellent computer skills, includingMicrosoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High level of sensitivity andprofessionalism. Demonstrable planning skills and strongattention to detail. Self-starter, having the ability to workindependently with minimalinstructions. Proven ability to work under pressure todefined timescales. Managerial skills: Delegating work, setting clear direction, and managing workflow. Ability to train and develop subordinate skills.
